i dont see why people need to compare things happening to other instances.
e.g.

when a fire broke out here, the building didnt fall down like it did here.
or
when this plane blew up, it blew up like this and not like that. duuuumb.

it happened the way it happened.
The government is hiding things because some information is still classified and should not be let out to the public.

every piece of information let out makes us more succeptable for a breach in our privacy or security.

Well I think the main reason would be because the facts have been laid out for us in the video.

Which is most likely way the quickest way for you to digest the information.

Also, my low IQ would dictate it takes too long for me to actually *read* anything, so this is really just much easier.
