Hi,
I wanted to set up my own ebay business but that has not worked out for me as I am struggling to find a product to sell. Which is why I have gone back on here and wanted to start promoting other peoples products or writing articals.

I am wanting to do the work and make it happen. I have a problem where I think of all the things that I want to do but I can't seem to set things up properly or struggle to set them up.

The only thing that I am good at is probably typing which is why I wanted to try articals, however not sure which way to go about it.

This past week I have been reading more posts and getting some ideas into my head in what to do. So I came across www.usfreeads.com, people have been saying that it is good for new beginners like myself. There is not alot of work to be done, however I feel like the results are not going my way so I am now looking to try something new.

Please could you give me any tips on what to do and help me gain the success like you are doing now.

Funny enough I started off on Ebay and did alright but it was only when I discovered clickbank/ affiliate marketing that things really took off.

I followed the bum marketing method to begin with but that was when US free ads used to get ranked high.

Not so good now but I still use them.

Also the best thing to start off would be:

1. Pick a good affiliate product - to tell if it would sell look at the sales page and ask "Would I buy it?", chances are if you would buy it so will others.

2. Then go to the Google keyword tool and pick 30 - 50 good keywords releated to the product.

3. Write articles and submit to Ezine articles.

If you need ideas look at articles on the same topic, however do not copy as one your article will not get accepted, and two it is not legal!

However you can read 3 or 4 articles and then get your own ideas and form your own article from it.

That's a great thing.. clickbank can make you serious money...

However articals are not the only thing you'll need..

Pick a great product, buy a few domains, create different landing pages, optimize them --> bring some traffic in.. and see how it converts..

My advice is to build a long term web business with lot of unique and useful articles. Select a niche that you love to write and build a website around that niche. Keep on adding pages at a regular intervals. In this way you can get high search engine rankings and free traffic too.

There are many ways to monetize:

1. Affiliate products
2. Finders fee. Contact a supplier in your niche and ask the supplier to pay for the traffic from your website.
3. CPA (Cost per action) products and services. Visit affiliate.com and pepperjamnetwork.com for many CPA products and services.

Be sure to keep focused on one area. If you have too many things to worry about, you'll give less attention to each one. Choose an IM area and stick to it and you'll be making $$ in no time.

 

I have been trying usfreeads... works ok... but not great results so far...

You might try Bum Marketing but first you need to learn how to do keyword research because if your articles are not targeted, chances are high that you will not get good results with your articles.
First step is to read and read until you are confident.

Nice one raider, may give that one a shot one time to see how it goes.. It would work heaps better than articles as they rank terribly in the serps.. (duplicate content)

 

I can appreciate what you're saying however, with me it's not an issue of whether or not I would buy it. I'd be in the middle of closing a deal (I also sold cars, new/used) thinking to myself "That thing is god awful ugly, I'd never buy it!" but I sold it anyway because I got someone to buy it. Even today things I sell/market I myself wouldn't buy (but that's me) so I ask myself "Can I sell it?" and that I can do. It's not what I think that matters, it's how I can get others to see things that makes the difference.
People love being sold, but they don't like being pushed.
