I downgrade to firefox 2 from firefox 3, coz the loading took sometime, and usually crash, lagged, when the net is dc. But for plugins, I prefer firefox. I'll try this IE 8. Thanks.

Truth be told, IE8 is currently the best in the IT industry.

Yes,IE8 is very good but still i think Firefox is much better since it facilitates opening of different site on the same window which helps the user to switch among different window according to their need which is not possible in IE8.I agree that there are flaws in Firefox also but still I find it more user friendly......

LOL! Anyone who uses IE8 hasn't a clue how incompetent their browser is and how 1990s they view the web.

While some would say IE 8 is better, well for me, I don't think so. IE 8 is still slow and once in a while, will just stall and hang.

seriously when you are going to stop telling us "IE8 is 11 Years Behind Other Browsers" its really getting boring to see that on every IE thread

i can understand you are trying to get visitors to your signature..but try something different next time

But i would like to admit IE8 is NOT so good

When people quit saying IE8 is any good or the IE8 threads stop. It is equally boring for me to have to contuously inform those who don't know better.

Firefox is by far the best for speed a reliability. IE all together needs to bow down to firefox.

Firefox is getting slower and slower as time goes by. Look at its memory useage in the task manager, absolutely horrible.

IE8 is still crap in the security department, but much much better than it was.

I still prefer Chrome over any of the others, and Epiphany on my Linux machine ( simple and incredibly fast ).

I don't know if IE8 is more "powerful" than Firefox. However, I do know that I will not upgrade any time soon. I am using FF3 as the primary browser and use IE7 for cross-browser testing and IE-only sites (go figure). Just as an FYI, I have experienced crashes in both browsers. I used Chrome for a short period, but it is not ready for prime time.

Firefox is the better of the 2 IE8 is slow and I don't like that it can't be changed like firefox. I love the add ons and I have not had any crash issues with it.
