A site for networking biz needs review

nice colors. I alwaysd like colors from flag of estonia country. did you try to make it more black blue white ?

 

great job, the site is great and the design is perfect for that kind of forums, but if you resize the logo to be bigger it will be perfect good luck

 

Yeh, decent site. I joined up and everything appears to be in working order. I feared the worst when I initially clicked on the site, but was pleasantly surprised to see that there are actually useful business discussions and not just a load of spammy posts about 'get rich quick schemes'! Keep it on this track and it should be a winner!

 

You picked nice colors...they go very well together.

everything seems OK except members' writing colour that seems a bit more light. It can be bolder-black. like DP. coz it makes harder to read. Cong.

Determine necessary forum rules not to reduce quality of the forum.

 

The colors go well. The logo is simple, but good enough. I would change the generic favicon from the vbulletin one. I would change the font color of threads/posts to a darker one. Overall it looks nice. The design, logo, and "idea" of the site, all go along well together.

Hi,

it's a nice forums, just few suggestions that could make it better:


1) The logo, I'd change the word 'Meet' to be in orange. it will also make the visitor easiest to remember the word Meet.


2) Subcategories are very little, I didn't saw Marketing and Law at first times,
so I'd suggest you to make every subforum on a new line

3) there're 2 menus in the header and both contains Home link, I'd bring them together in one menu, if there's not enough space, you can use javascript for drop down menu.

Everything looks fine. But the Home and Login menu in the top right corner is not needed because there is already a home page option in menu bar and the login section is already there. Just remove that..

 

Many people have already said on colors.., but i would suggest stay awy from dark black and grey layout...the distract viewer reading, Blue, sky blue and white is a sober and simply professional look...!!!

Second , you want to make forum big hit... you need to reach masses....so..reach search engine????how???

Keep a blog section or arcticle section for "current business new" or business basics etc..which you add daily contents to ..small topics...this will increase search engine ranking...to reach you and more traffic.....

see those site really go up in hits and search engine ranking who are dynamic and updated on daily basis...because search engine keeps crawling your site..more and more...as you add data

As lot of articles and topics are available on business.....i have over 9000 articles....on all business topics...

The only part I would try to improve is the "BusinessMeet" logo, maybe add some color to it or come up with something more unique. You want people to remember your website and having a nice clean unique logo might help with that. It's not a MUST but I think it might add a little more. Like everyone else said the color scheme is great, good job with that. Also, I just noticed under the "BusinessMeet" logo that the text for "doing business the right way" is pretty light, I would at least darken that up a tad. Good job so far though!

 

Good concept, nice colors, but you need a logo. It looks like vB right out of the box. And why is your copyright line in all caps?

 

Nice clean site

I am very interested in business ideas and owning businesses, i recommend a motivation section or success stories - those always seem to generate a buzz around business people -
it would get your posters a bit of a "look what i can do" type of arena.

Are you planning on just having a Board type of site? or will you be branching off? i think in the business realm - it would be nice to have a site with a bit of everything - usually business minded individuals LOVE to read HOW TO books or just articles on who did what and such (atleast the ones i hang around do that)

It would be cool (i always wanted to do this) if you had a site that somehow melts a blog, a bulletin board as well as an e-books section or "try it yourself" section (which would really just give away and/or sell books) - become an amazon affiliate and see if you can sell a few books.. remember people on your site will be looking to better themselves, and loving business .. everyone needs to be as well informed as they can be (hence books)

Nice logo, but there after few tips about colors: If you look at website like a first time - you will see few blue lines first of all. Its look like zebra. Maybe you can play with this blue color horizontal lines, make it not so bright?

Beautiful site. The only problem I found is in the navigation. About, Calculators, Meeting and Networking didn't work. Perhaps someone else could try. All in all, very good. The best of luck to you.
