Hi all, I just installed oscommerce for my hindu murti website but I have problem, you see the title on the home page works, but the title of the product pages dosent work it says E-Commerce on all the product pages) how can I change this? I want the name of the product on the title, can some1 pls. help me pls. I would be very greatfull if some1 could help me on this, its urgent thanks in advance
I use zencart which is a branch from oscommerce. It should be similar. Hi, I recommend installing/adding this header tags SEO contribution (link below) to your OSC shop. It is the best to use, and works wonderful for page titles, description and keyword meta on OSC sites. Mod: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,5851 It is a good size hack but well worth the effort to work it in.. I have installed and used it on many OSC sites. Boulder
thank you! that exactly what I was looking for! but I am having trobles in installing it. You see I uploaded header_seo_install.php and when I run it (typing the address on the browser) it gave me an error saying error on 1st row
Ya sometimes on some servers that auto install file script will not run.. in that case just import the .sql file manually via phpmyadmin or in a shell, into the OSC database. Boulder
