W3schools SQL Tutorial

Discussion in 'MySQL' started by pipes, May 23, 2009.

I noticed that at w3schools the SQL Tutorial is not focused on MySQL for example, it says it covers the others too.

I know its just the basics at w3schools but is the SQL Tutorial still useful enough? seen as it doesn't focus on MySQL specifically.

Thanks very much Bohra, il work through that.

I guess it wont do me any harm to still go through the general sql tutorial too to still pick up that basic understanding of sql, as well as the info focused on php with mysql.

To answer you first post, it seems as though it is enough to cover basics. If you want to learn more, the best thing might bo to get a book. I find a book to be the best thing available to learn a language, program or tool because you can look trough it, come back, read it and not be in front of your pc: in the airplane, subway, home, outside on a bench,...
