Hi all SEO gurus in DP, what can I achieve by spending $300 for SEO purpose? And how exactly should I spend the money to get the best result? I want to follow only legal ways that doesn't break any terms and policies of Google or other SERPs. So, please give ideas where and how to invest to get SEO done for my blog avoiding any kind of illegal activities. Thank you very much.
There's plenty of options out there....article submissions, backlinking, etc. You don't even have to spend a cent to get decent results. Just remember that things will not magically transform overnight and that this is a process that you have to be willing to see through in the long term.
when it comes to SEO and link building, it is the quality that counts. instead of spending on LOTS of low quality services, i would suggest you to put a plan together to setup a high quality link building campaign that will benefit you in the long run. hiring a ghost writer to get some articles written, getting some unique articles submitted to top article directories, setup few pages with popular social media and web 2.0 sites will be my recomendation
@TIG2009 I know about the slow process and I have been reading a lot about all these last few months. But now I want to experiment and see how exactly other legal but fast SEO optimization tricks work, you know what I mean. @sultanofseo Thanks a lot for your suggestion and I am also looking for high quality service, not too many low quality services. So from your suggestions, do you have any specific services you would like to recommend for me?
you need to hire dedicated guy who do blog, article, link building and social media work for your blog.
What kind of SEO are you looking for? On-Page, Off-Page, and so-on... I suggest you try some article marketing.. Very inexpensive and the returns are great for short term, but even better for long term. Article marketing is a "white hat" technique that search engines just eat up and is extremely effective because it's highly targeted Quality backlinks boost your PageRank and your position in search engines, paving the way for increased targeted traffic. Search engines depend on links for search rankings, so the constant introduction of new links is key to your success. Google and the other search engines need to know that your site is relevant; building relevant backlinks is a critical part of this. As your article is posted on more and more sites, those links tell the search engines that your site is popular. A small investment now, will pay huge dividends in the future.
@linda and GuruCreation I am looking for Off-Page optimization only. From recent forum posts I have learned that Article submission and Press releases don't have much value in Google's eye. But if press release is still worth I would like to do it. Whatever SEO is done, backlinks must have long term affects and high quality values.
I prefer blog postings (with unique articles) , article submission and Press Release as they helped me a lot in SEO.
Hello Use off page optimization technique like directory submission, article submission, article writing, social bookmarking and press release. Regards GOnline
Off site SEO is great and essential in any marketing campaign - but - it will mean very little unless your on site SEO is up to scratch.
In my experience, article submission is the most effective strategy for SEO. Depending on how you do, I agree that submitting same content to hundreds of directories will not help... Unique articles submission is the key.
I have to agree with KC Tan... Of all of the link farming methods where you are 'planting' links on other sites pointing back to your site, article submission is probably the most effective and time/cost efficient method of obtaining links from relevant sites. However, with a grand total of $300 I'm not sure you're going to get a lot. You could check out the helium.com marketplace. There you can create essentially article contests. You tell them you want X number of articles and give them X article topics. You specify how much you want to pay for each article (most get done for $30-50). Then lots of freelance writers there will write articles for each of your contests. You get to see all the articles, and if you like them you can buy the best article for each topic. Or you can buy multiple articles for each topic. Or you don't have to buy any at all. Once you have purchased an article it is yours. You can reword it, add links to it, etc. There are no links embedded in the articles back to their site. You don't have to give the author a byline.
ask some bloggers here to post about a topic that corresponds to your niche and get 2 links from each article.by this way you can get 100 blog posts and hence 200 links overall.Make sure you obtain links from blogs that have atleast a PR2 .
Get some blog reviews done. i think those are the best options. I saw immediate jumps in serps after some blog reviews
The first thing is to do on-page SEO and then concentrate on off-page parameters such as link building. Blog reviews by the top players in your niche will definitely pay your efforts.
@Everyone How do I get started guys? Where do I ask for blog reviews and quality article submission or press releases? @markov I visited your page "How to rank a website high in google -- bla bla" and found a link to a SEO Software Tool in it. How exactly these tools work, is it worth the money?
