So many sigs here for Alive Directory ?

new members are keen to know about it , im sure chris would do something about it, probably a about us page in alive

and the trend he has started, there are lot more who are initiating to make similar sort of reputations, and its helping everyone, as long as everyone is happy , i dont see any harm.

i myself never submitted any paid links, alive was the 1st for me.
also i will always reply to threads which i spot out related to alive dir, coz what he has done no one did before. i have a feeling whoever oays me, i want to give him equal or may be more then what he has given it to me.

and regarding these threads appearing spam to u , i have no comments, chris should answer that.

and yes i am getting traffic.
and tell me who doesnt invest, putting money in a domain name is also an investment, so wats bad if i put in like $75 one time fee. atleast im sure that my money wont become 0

Maybe your blinded by the honeymoon phase of ever submitting to a good paid directroy. I know its a good investment and ive already said that and who said im critising you for making a submission, ive made submissions in the past. But before people keep making these threads they should search the forum and see people talking good about it if tehy dont its basically spam if 5 other people before you said the exact same thing. If you want to share your expireince and announce to people what they already know which is that alivedirectroy is a good directroy put it in the "Solicitation and Announcemnt" forum...

I agree with you nick, though is directory is great also.

well instead of saying me blinded u can make a suggestion to keep about us box and feedback box at alive directory,
solve the issue rather then streching it,
once theres a feedback link there, there will be less members here to create new thread asking wats alive directory
i have no intention here to argue, i like to solve issues then create more,and i havent blamed you for anything so relax

 

its still a relatively new directory, but give it some time and considering the amount of backlinks it has, it'll be up to atleast PR7 in no time. At that time, the $25 prictag would seem well worth it and the ones who've made this investment today will be vilified.

 

There's a few problems with your post that being a bashful, quiet person will require quite a bit of strength for me to get out

First, the new, young DP member who started this thread wasn't making comments about the Internet's Best Directory, he was asking why all these crazy fools have it in their signature block ... fair question for a new person to be curious about it seems.

Advising that this is more appropriate in the Solicitation and Announcements would merely get the new member an infraction for posting in the wrong forum as a question about the Websites Directory is neither of the aforementioned.

As far as people talking up mystikmedia or his great Internet Resources Directory its because he's earned the respect, friendship and loyalty of his fellow DigitalPoint members and I don't think you'll find anyone here or on the entire Internet who can remember a single project that he's done that hasn't been better than most, if not all, as yfs1 points out.

Now, back to the thread starters original question - it's been answered, but now I'm wondering where to get my very own Alive Directory link for my signature block? I want one too!

Well it's still going off-topic which should bring in an infraction..How can someone post about the signature that and then loads of people go on a totally different direction. No one has posted about the signature thing before so I guess I cant blame thread starter but whats up with all the off-topic posts that came out of no-where? Just because the thread starter stated something about alive directory does not mean some people going off-topic and spamming its basically hijacking his thread start your own and I would not be complaining. Ive already said its a great directory that does not mean I have to go running peoples threads off topic, make your own thread its not hard.

The Alive Directory is pretty cool but the Aviva Directory is bad ass. There seems to be a lot of Aviva sigs around here too. I buy links from both directories for the same clients, Google seems to prioritize the Aviva links, then v7n, then Alive when checking for backlinks.

Along with the back links showing up good, Aviva & v7n offer affiliate programs that pay out well. I don't think the Alive Directory offers an affiliate program. Maybe I'm wrong?
