Affilliate Marketing For Beginners?

Hi all,

I realize affiliate marketing is not easy at all, and no matter which program one chooses, making money will NOT come without hard work. Though, I am sure some programs and niches are easier for beginners than others.

1) What niche do you recommend for a beginner?

2) What affiliate program is a good one?

 

1) Weight loss, How to make money, Male enhancement, Casino & Poker...
2) For beginner, such a program offers high commissions. Be sure the company is offering a decent percentage. Do not accept anything below 20% as it is not worth it. You should be paid at least once a month and the minimum payout should not be more than $100. Also be sure that the company has a convenient method of paying your commission.

1) For niche, keep up to date with google trends and ebay pulse etc. as its changing constantly

2) Aff programs best for beginners are cj/clickbank

 

I fully disagree. Both networks give you no clue on how to actually promote the products. Most of the CJ advertisers automatically decline my application, because I'm not in the US. Even those who accept me provide me with 0 help on what to do to make money with them - I get only links/banners and that's all.

1) Forex has been a good niche for me I am actually launching my own product tomorrow!
2) Clickbank is good for beginners but if you look at some of the websites and the affiliate pages on the sites you will see a ton of material on where to post on how to get started!

 

If you want to make money 'fast' (and this is of course a relative term) try CPA offers. The bottom line is really, can you drive traffic? traffic is the ultimate gold here.

I personally feel that the best way is to get a mentor to guide you. Else you may end up buying a lot of stuff but don't know how to use them.
