If you had $30,000 to build something?

Imagine you had $30K to spend on an internet business! What would you invest in. I may have this problem very soon!

 

i will create my advertising network like Adbrite + Adengage.

I would do something real instead of internet .. =)

 

I would invest a lot of it on outsourcing stuff

 

I would not invest into the internet. I would probably start a real small business locally.

 

Maybe just buy a website with lots of traffic in a niche you're interested in.

 

I'd commission a thinktank to tell me what people are really looking for, and then make that. Or perhaps I'd just post on a forum and hope people gave me ideas, free.

 

Just buy GOOG.

 

I'd go to the premium section of sitepoint marketplace and buy an established online business that I like. For that amount you can easily get a business that brings you $3K-$4K a month. That way you can have immediate return to your investment. You need to make sure you do your due diligence properly

 

I would spent on link building,adwords,PR building,video marketing,word of mouth method.
The rest i will spent in on fine tune the website.

if u have 30k,why you still want to invest in 'unreal' internet world ?
use it to start your real business like open restaurant,invest it or buy share or anything u like.
quite risky if u invest to much money in internet business.
may be you can also start a similar business like resellerspanel.com offer free reseller but use cpanel as control panel etc ?

It wouldn't be a smart investment, but coming from an online gamer I'd invest
into a Gaming ladder since the opportunity is there since CAL recently fell off the map.

Offering prices and having fun myself I probably wouldn't see any profits but would
enjoy the leauge myself as much as the teams that were to join.

 

I would suggest investing that money in education. Become skilled with PPC and SEO. All Internet businesses require traffic. If you can develop traffic, you can succeed at quite a few online businesses.

After you have completed the above, and created a solid foundation to build on, I would also send a cash donation to the person that made this suggestion.
