(I've turned off the email at this time). I need someone who can program a captcha into the submit process. In addition to a captcha, I need to have the email address validated so that only one email can be sent at a time. (check the link provided by @d4xDragon in the first tread reply for more information on that.) I will give you the page code to look at, when completed I will insert the code you write into my site. I will not be giving you the passcodes to get in. I will pay (by paypal) when the script is successfully installed. PM me with what you would charge to do this. If you need more information be specific requesting what you want. Requests of "Please send me more information" will be ignored.
hi whoever is Programming for you, tell him also to protect you against php mail header injection. Contact forms, send to a friend, comments with email etc are open for spammers to SPAM using “php Mail header Injectionâ€. captcha is good to stop the auto submissions but email spam from contact forms can be stopped by other security measure I suspect captcha will not help you in this. please refer to Following article for details. http://www.jellyandcustard.com/2006/02/24/email-header-injection-in-php/ if i am a spammer and buy typing 6 or 7 captcha characters and number i can send 10000s of emails i can do that manually and happily. unfortunately i am too busy till Thursday and cannot program for you but still I think I should give you suggestion . rest is up to you. thanks Dragon
As I informed the original poster in PM, captcha will help but not solve all the problems. I have offered my services along with some minor consultation on the problem.
