Hi guys, was wondering will I get my adsense account closed if I get like crappy impressions? Like 50,000 impressions on just the CPM ads on google adsense without a single click. I am sure they are legit traffic, just that they just don't click on the ads. Will my account get close for this?
No you no get banned. Google knows it because sometime they give 50,000 impressions to AdWords advertiser without a click. Of course Google does not like that because they don't make any money unless people click the ad and it puts enermous strain in their infrasture to serve those impressions.
One of my site got 100,000+ impressions and no problem at all. The things that really cause problem for most publishers is how you get the traffics. Most of publisher who got banned use unethical method to get traffics to their site *or* create garbage sites as know as MFA (made for adsense).
No. they wont ban you for this. however if your site gets too fluctuative in terms of impression and clicks too often it will raise a red flag and your site will be monitored more closely by google. Sudden bursts are normal in case of social bookmarks getting famous or link baiting articles
