Flash Arcade - 20k+ monthly w/Revenue

I have today found myself in a position where I need a bit of extra cash in order to progress with a planned new project. As such, I am having to sell my recently established arcade both in order to supply me with funds, as well as to free up the time needed for my new venture.

This arcade was launched on Feb 14th, with big plans of it being a long-term project. As such, I have thrown a lot of time and effort towards enhancing it past what most other arcades offer.

The Script

Wootcade runs on phpArcadeScript, arguably one of the most robust scripts available; and doesn't suffer from the bloated pricing, code restrictions and poor support of other scripts on the market.

A full list of features ia available on their site, in addition I have added numerous modifications, aesthetic tweaks, custom graphics and additional content peices, including:

-Tabbed game summary content (below the games)
-Social bookmarking for games
-Contest manager (simple monitoring of user referrals, gameplays, comments etc)
-Sitemap mod (pings Google when updated when the in-built sitemap generator has been used to update the .xml file)
-Related games mod (shows a selection of similar choices below every game's page)
-Avatar gallery when editing profile
-User ranking titles (changes automatically according to number of games played)
-PM user from profile
-Avatar next to comments
-Register prompt bar
-Myspace resource content

The best way to get a real grasp of just how much this has been enhanced is to compare it to the default script as it appears on purchase.

Additionally, the arcade features over 2000 games, with hundreds more available but marked as inactive - this allows for a few new games to be added every other day as a way to constantly deliver fresh new content to visitors. This is something which can be acheived simply with an automatic cron-job.

The license itself is valid and transferable, however it can only be transfered once every 12 months.

As you can see, traffic is currently averaging at around 720-730 per day (which would have been higher if not for a blip in the server a few days ago resulting in a 500 count, bringing down the daily av) - amounting for approximately 21k+ monthly uniques.

Advertising has been done for this site, on which I spend around an hour or two maximum per week (so obviously someone with more time on their hands could do even better).

I have ran a few paid ads through Adengage, which have cost $9 for March. These were, however, purchased before I stumbled across a few key refferers who drive more traffic to me than those ads, and had I been able to continue running the sites, my focus would have switched to those sources rather than paid advertising - so theres a hint for a potential buyer!

On that note, some of you may wonder why i've blanked out those referrers - well, even though the sites are highly popular (obviously), they are not widely promoted amongst Arcade webmasters as 'hotspots', and I don't really want to give each and every person who comes in here to pick up tips from my traffic a free ride! As stated on the screenshot, serious bidders may PM me to discuss those sources.

Revenue

This has been a sticky area with me. As any arcade webmaster will tell you, YPN is by far the best PPC company for these types of sites. I won't wax lyrical about reported yields, however they are by all accounts significantly higher that Google. Unfortunately, living in the UK, I am not eligible for a YPN account, so have to make do with Adsense, which is currently used sparsely.

My main revenue measures have revolved around RightMedia's CPM campaigns. Again, these are not the first choice; that honour goes to ValueClickMedia - however a screw up on my part when submitting the URL has led to a delay which, at this point, has not been resolved.

As you will see, these currently bring in around $1.50 average daily; amounting for $45 monthly revenue, $540 yearly.

While this amount would unquestionably be significantly increase with the use of YPN and to some extent VCM, I will not be taking that into account when pricing the sale.

One thing to note is that purchasing text-links on arcades is a common practice, usually undertaken by new arcade webmasters as a way to boost PR and traffic. According to iwebtool.com, Wootcade is currently predicted PR5 in the next update, which would provide a solid ground for further monetizing the site with paid links. Take that for what its worth.

Extras

I accidentally forgot about Godaddys tendancy to try and thurst extra domains on you when making a purchase, and as such ended up with the .biz, .net and .info extensions to this domain, all regged until Jan 08. These will be included free of charge for the new owner.

We also have a Myspace page with over 300 friends (garnered through various friend trains etc) which will also be given to the new owner for free

Additionally, the site is registered with several banner exchanges (where showing other peoples banners on your site gains you extra impressions to be shown on theirs), and all account info would be passed on to you. This is entirely free.

Lastly, we have a 468x60 banner and a 100x100 banner which are included, and i'll keep up all links to the site that are currently on my other website for 2 months.
