I am getting ready to send a blast email for my website and hope to gain some sales. here is my website link: www.completetrafficcourse.com

I am clueless of what to put in the subject line and in the body to gain click throughs. I was thinking of copying and pasting a line from my webpage it self for the body but cant decide which is strong enough to convert. any suggestions would be great.

    thanks

Well an idealo subject line would be something catchy like: Do you Want to Explode Your Traffic stats!?
Stuff like that... the same goes with the body... just be stragiht to the point as much as possible :)

The title should be something catchy or one that would generate curiosity - your tag line probably.

The body should be short, simple, and direct to the point so they would read it from start to finish.

i don't know about everyone here, but i personally honestly wouldn't open an email with a subject line like that, smells SPAM and Scam. :D,

people are flooded with spam everyday, i am not really an expert in Email marketing, but i think that to stand out, you need to tone down the volume, and make it look like a personal message, try to be consistent, to the point, and very personal, don't use "we", use "i", and if possible send emails on a case by case basis, get to know your customer and use those informations in your message, ALSO GIVE A FREEBIE, give them a sample, a valuable sample, that's called pre-selling, people love free stuff give them something for free before u ask for their dollar.

    good luck.

I agree with funkymario, i don't think you wanna make your email look like spam because it will just be deleted by the recipient.

An easy way to get started in this would be to simply write snippets of your Sales Page. Cut up your sales page into 5 pieces & you have instantly 5 emails to send out.

I developed the mailing system for gambling.com many years ago and dealing with being flagged as spam was a major issue. Not only can you get blacklisted but there are some entities that will not allow mass email without getting an OK from them. One of these was AOL.

You will want to check your content along with your title for how high the spam score is.
This is one tool I have used in the past. (I do not have any association with them)
    http://www.mailingcheck.com/email-spam-score-check/

What this does is check how likely your mailer will be flagged as spam. Knowing your spam score before sending a mailer is invaluable and can save you a ton of wasted money.

    The best of luck,

    Ken

Another piece of advice. Don't shout out at people. Don't capitalize your subject line in your email. Capitals are a NO NO.

Frankly I make my email subjects short sweet and to the point: "(your company name): [Subject]" for instance:

"Fourth Floor Marketing: Email Marketing Week 2"

My readers typically stay subscribed because they want to receive my emails, so clickthrough's etc. aren't a problem. Content is king, everything else is secondary.

Try offering a discount or giveaway or something of BENEFIT to the user and hopefully your list is targeted and they will actually be interested in your offer.
