what's up with people registering .info over . net and .org?

    With certain domains I see the person has registered the .com and the .info. For example if the person searched casablanca and no extensions were registered, they register casablanca.com and casablanca.info, leaving the .net and .org. I know .info is appropriate for 'information' type sites, but does this even make sense? Because I doubt Casablanca.info could sell for more than the .net or .org version....

    The cost of .info domain names is so low it makes it a very inexpensive investment to obtain such domain name
