New Windows XP doesnt connect to internet

I just installed a fresh copy of XP on another laptop that i have (formatted the whole laptop and installed a new copy)..

The internet doesnt work though. It has wireless card but doesnt connect. It also doesnt connect when i connect it to the router with a cable.

Any idea why?

Have you installed all the drivers etc?

 

no. i thought windows xp would have most of those (at least the network card drivers)

I guess i have to go to IBM's website and find the drivers for this model, download them on another computer and bring them to this other laptop to install
