    Hi Y'all,

    My name is Tamara and even tho' I'm just joining the DP forum, I've been building websites and making money online for about 10 years.

    I got my feet wet in the late 1990's when I became the webmaster for the corporate website of a company I worked for at the time. As a result, I became totally hooked and have been working to make my fortune online ever since.

    In 2001, I discovered eBay and quickly became an eBay PowerSeller. I rode the eBay wave until last year, when things there kinda tanked for me. I still list stuff for sale on eBay, but I make more money these days as an eBay affiliate than I do as an eBay seller. Kinda ironic, huh!

    I've been working online full-time for the past 2 and a half years and generate income from affiliate marketing, developing, selling and giving away my own products and by selling stuff on eBay.

    Over the years, I've belonged to a number of small (and not so small) private paid forums. I've never been a member of Digital Point before, however, I have browsed as a guest from time-to-time but found it a bit overwhelming. So much going on and so many people! I'm just a country girl from a small rural town in North Carolina.

    Today, I decided to step out of my "comfort zone" and join the party. I promise to do my best not to step on anyone's toes while I'm here.

    Now, if someone could please point me in the direction of the bar...it's time for a Margarita!

    I'm a bit like you in that I've found my way here off and on over the past few years. Now that I'm more comfortable stepping out into IM I've decided to join DP too. There's a LOT here that's for sure but it seems to be frequented by decent helpful people too. Other places I've seen folks are kinda uptight and not so nice in the way they "talk" to people.

    Anyway hope we both find what we're looking for.

    I forgot to mention in my initial post that I'm an avid WordPress user, self-hosted, that is.

    I've spent a bit of time today in the Blogging forum here and it looks like I've have found a place where I just may fit in.
