$65 Logo Contest Winner takes all Payment via paypal

Hi guys,
Let me put aside the fake modesty: this is a contest run by proteindude so the winner is guaranteed

I need your help getting a great logo done so please only enter if you are ready to design your best logo ever

Here's what I need:

Name: Legit Nutri_ents (please remove the underscore) I need the word Legit to appear highly visible in bold and Nutri_ents can appear secondary in smaller letters underneath Legit

Colours: sorry if you will find this annoying but I may change the colours as the submissions come in. For now I prefer a dark blue/gray/gold combination but you can also feel free to use other colours.

What I want: a professional looking logo. Must have some kind of a stylish icon either next to the word Legit or as part of Legit. This will sell nutritional products for younger users so it must look modern, original, unique and fresh

DO NOT want a web2 design

I prefer all entries on the thread but I also am ok with PMs. However, if you submit via pm, I will reply with feedback on the thread.

Will end this contest when I see something I like preferrably within the next 5 days.


Winner must be able to accept payment via paypal.

@jokomamamita: thanks for getting things started. very nice, very pleasant and very stylish entry but unfortunately not suitable. I wanted the word Legit to be the main word, and I wanted something bold and then nutr_ients to be the secondary one. Actually thanks for fixing it up. I will wait for other entries before I ask for changes because I think I would prefer Legit to be on top even wider/bolder and nutr_ients to be under Legit. and edit again The bottom one is definitely much better and closer to my requirements. Great work. I must say, lately you've been on a roll with great designs.

Thanks for the entries. I am on blackberry right now so a bit hard to type. I will come back with detailed feedback. I forgot to mention these nutr_ients are for body builders so I need a more macho looking logo with a bolder font. Please don't use people icons. Concentrate on making legit look really bold

dhamaka: thanks for the entry but it's not what I am after. Although it looks pleasant I need something with a more bolder text for the word legit

creative-rascal: nice logo but doesn't meet my requirements. The icon is too big and I prefer the focus to be on the word legit. Also the font you used is not bold.

rawasia: thank for entering this but not unique enough. Legit is definitely bold just like I asked but the icon is a little too simple and nutr_ients doesn't go well somehow.

eblue: thanks for the entry but it's not bold enough and the icon looks a little girly and I prefer something a little more male oriented

crowquill: great to see you mate and thanks for entering this. I guess it's my fault for not explaining it properly. Both your logos are great: nice style and nice colours and also very, very creative. The only problem is they are unsuitable. Unsuitable because Legit nutr_ients will be selling some sort of muscle products for men. I realise I should have made this clearer in my first post. So it won't be natural ingredients I will be selling but mainly sports ingredients.

TindiRindi: sorry but not what I am after. A bit too plain for my liking

Jeda: thank you for entering but not what I am after. I prefer a non person icon and more of a generic one. I also need a more bolder font.

owain1: #12 a bit too plain and also I don't want to use any weights as part of the logo. #14 looks better but still too plain. It is a great idea to use the tick and initially I was going to request that a tick be part of the logo but the reason I didn't do that was because usually the tick looks too common. A tick would still be great but it would have to look different from the normal ticks.

manzanvil: both your logos are very hard to judge. Short answer is I don't like them. However they are great concepts, they look very creative and original but the execution is poor if this makes any sense. It's like having a great idea and both designs look promising but it seems to me you may lack the skill to present these ideas properly. To be honest I like both ideas that you presented but they would need to be polished.

CHSajid: thanks for entering but it's not one of your better designs and I have seen your designs and a lot of them are great. This one is just a touch too plain and not very creative compared to your other works.

melissa: thanks for the entry. It is a pleasant logo but a bit too plain for my taste. I need something a little more exciting.
