    It depends on what format is the video file you are going to display in the player. It is recommended to use Flash, or rather FLV, for Flash can works cross platform.
    There is a software called Adobe Flash CS 3, with which to create and edit Flash file. You can use the program to make a FLV player for your website.

    If it is too technical for you, you can try this flash video player maker, it will be much easier to use.

    Use this java player. Most of websites even one you mentioned is using the same.

    In some cases, they had used protecting sites to protect embedded link of video. The site you mentioned is not hosting any video.
