Who has made the biggest money on Squidoo?

I recently have started a lens on Squidoo and I have noticed it has a lot of potential for making money. My lens is very recent and is not developed enough yet so it didn't have many visitors. Still I got paid an average of 0.57 cent per visitor last time. Here is the lens:

I was wondering if there are experiences from the people that have made a lot of money with Squidoo? I got paid once so I am not sure about the average rate of all time but a simple calculation says if the average rate would be like that and you would have good lenses with a lot of visitors you can make good money.

Anybody has made good money with Squidoo?

In my experience, the best way to make money on Squidoo is through third party affiliate sales.

 

I have a couple of squidoo lenses but have yet to make a penny.

 

I use Squido to promote my products. i don't expect to get anything form Squido. I have made sales form some my pages.

 

many ppl have squido but majority is for backlink only, dunno how to monetize with squidoo

 

I'm still don't understand how we can earn from squidoo internally, I just use it to drive traffic to my sites..just keep adding content and see your ranking increase.

 

You can also make money by adding modules like ebay listings and amazon etc.

That is really interesting but considering the rank for the lens (6 overall) almost $1000/m earning is not much, I think we can consider it the maximum potential for direct money making of a lens in Squidoo. Any thoughts?

 

I was thinking if as an average would earn you 0.5 cents any advertising method that bring you visitors with less than will bring a positive cash flow and its economy will work. For sure it can not be PPC as the minimum cost per visitor is 5 cents. Any thoughts for less than 0.5cents/visitor advertising methods?

Although SEO can be a way of direct money making in this case but I have read that Squidoo lenses do not have much of high rank specially in Google.

I think as almost everybody mentioned another good way is indirect selling use the lense to direct traffic to other sites.

 

A properly optimized Squidoo lens has the potential to help you make money.

Some made it directly with the money from advertising, while some are getting the benefit of strong relevant backlinks from their Squidoo lenses.

As for me, I am using Squidoo lenses for backlinks & web promotion purposes

 

Yeah man I dont think very many people use squidoo adsense to make money - you are better off to go to blogger and blog about any high profit keyword niche.

Adsense -> Squidoo's Profit -> You are like... the 2nd middle man.

Backlinks to your money site is where it's at. However it appears others here have been able to create lenses w/ aff links to make decent coin.

 

You can try affiliate or sell links there

 

You need to build a following for your lens. Then you can push as many affiliate offers as you want.

I still think investing time in a proper blog is better though.

 

Havent made anything fro squidoo yet

 

I typically make $70 a month from Squidoo itself and about $1k a month in third party sales. Most of which comes from ClickBank and CJ.

I just made 10 lenses on squidoo. will let you know what happens. hope to make some cash. anyone make money on the amazon stuff?

 

I use squidoo to test a niche, and if ranks well, I create a new site.. Use the squidoo to point links to my main site..

Google also treats Squidoo funnily. Sometimes it ranks, sometimes it doesn't... You need to get some authority links to start ranking..

It started ranking a new site of mine for the review of a particular product. I made 100 dollars from affiliate sales in first month

I create lenses almost everyday and i can guarantee that people can make money from squidoo. I realized its not the number of lenses you create, its the quality that pays off
