My Adsense earnings were never great, but I was at least averaging about $10 day. But this month my average a day has been $1. What is going on!!! My CTR hasn't changed, just earnings. All the clicks are 4 cents and under. AAAAAAAAH!

Quality of visitors is another big factor, especially if there are not from US..

possible you was smart priced. I to went thru this in january making about 8.00 a day went down under a dollar, same amount of clicks. I took off the ads went to adbrite making better. Recently I started adding back the adsense ads on some pages and they are getting clicks the amount of earnings before smart priced.

i had been through this for one of my site, i then removed the ads for about a week or two, and then put the codes back. my amount per click went to normal... i guess the removal of ads code for a week or two, got me our of the smart price thing :)

I would suggest remove Adsense and going to another network for a time . . then try and come back after a month or so.

Really a week or two??? Then I'll lose my $14! :D

I don't understand why I'm being smart priced. $10 a day is nothing???

I am interested in this concept you guys are discussing. What is the benefit of removing AdSense for a period?!

I also heard this for the first time.
But need to ensure that it removing ads for a period of time really works.

Maybe the site you made all that adsense money on was a fad site.

For example "GTA 4" "fast and the furious 4" or "Swine Flu"

I have experienced the same thing with two of my sites. I did the same thing that is suggested here. I removed my adsense from both sites and I added the adsense codes back in about 3 weeks. My sites are back to normal and back to earning what I have always been earning. Try this out and see what happens for you.

Those who removed ads for a week or so, how do you know that things changed as a result? Things could have just gone back to normal...right? And GrAveTzT, I'm referring to SearchBliss, not a "fad" site.

yep, but in the long run it will be good :D I doubt amount has anything to do with smart pricing, its just a filter that some how got triggered

usually if you do not do anything, then things don't go to normal... just from experience

In my thinking adsense is the best way of earning and you can earn from it as much you.

    But you should have strategy.
