I'm excited. I'm fairly new at promoting Clickbank products and I do it from a blog. I have reached their magic threshold to be able to receive one check and I'm now working on the next. I don't make a sale every day. I don't even make one every week. I don't have great traffic. But when I saw my stats today, I got excited and had to post here to give some inspiration to everyone trying to make money with Clickbank. Below, if you'd like to read it, is a post to My Blog with an image of my Clickbank stats: http://www.learntoearn101.net/2009/05/how-many-clicks-do-you-need-to-make.html
Thanks for all the congrats...... And, yes, Fireboat, it did cross my mind what the sales could be like with thousands of hops.... Working on it! VBG
You cannot say you are converting at 7 hops if you made just one sale. The next sale might not come with the next 1000 hops You have to make at least 10 sales before you can state that you are converting at certian rate
I think it is a very good start. Who knows, it could also happen that you make a sale with less hops than 7. Keep going, I hardly make any sales on CB. GOOD LUCK...
congrats with sale but statistics may fluctuate: Let me give some examples for my sales: 3 days 2300 hops 1 sale next 2 days 890 hops 9 sales sometimes i got 3 sales in 1 hour sometimes I do not get nothing within 2 days average: 15236 hops last 30 days and 59 sales average 259 hops per order: So these are significant statistics within one month and some thousands hops and 10's of sales so I CAN SAY MY PRODUCT CONVERTS ~1:256
Now, wait and see what that does over time. It can fluctuate as someone mentioned. Daily stats can't tell a whole lot in and off themselves. Just the other day I had only two hops for a product and one sale. Then the other day I had many hops and no sales. It's a good feeling though, but don't expect it every day.
I fail so hard at clickbank it's not even funny. Other forms of affiliate marketing I seem to do ok at, but Clickbank programs just elude me.
Yep good result. But like others have noted it depends on how long it is before you get the next 10 sales, then you start to find an average. But anyway well done.
My source is a Clickbank blog. And, of course, as everyone predicted, lousy stats the next day BG But it was fun seeing that sale with such little traffic
