I made a Glype proxy...I found it quite easy to customize...But how do you enable JavaScript in it?

 

i am afraid that you will get any buyer there. your prices are almost 20 times from the usual prices

 

or build proxy related websites. so when the summer is over you got allot of traffic for your proxies.

 

What is it like owning a proxy list during the summer holidays ? Does it suffer as much a proxies ?

 

Totally, I remember selling an old proxy list because everything sucked that bad

 

Well, during the summer, if you work extra hard, you can still get a decent profit. There are still lots of kids in summer schools, libraries, adults at work, you just may need to change the way you advertise a little bit.

It may also help with the future popularity of your proxy for the coming school months.

Oh, and my VPS has so far gone down 2 times, but as soon as it does, it has a setting that automatically reboots it

 

Can somebody (an older proxy owner) say this is true? I had over 4 summers with proxies, and even if I worked very hard.. I still didn't get a lot of traffic... So I really don't agree with the point you make, eventually you can still get a bit of traffic but not the traffic you would normally expect from all promotion you did. Better wait and invest all the energy for the other non-summer months..

Honestly I have no clue It's something that ServInt configured without me doing anything.

@stijnne, while I agree that it is extremely hard and energy-consuming, it is far from IMPOSSIBLE. And even a newbie can tell that with your negative attitude, you are setting yourself up for summer failure. Ever heard of the Law of Attraction?

iran traffic will never die throughout 365days a year although i have no idea about the china traffic

The proxy dessert is coming soon by end of this month. Everyone can take a long break of 3 months for summer holidays. Don't ever try to monetize on Iran and China traffic unless you have an unmetered server. All the best Just my 2cents.

 

Even you're on unmetered server,BW is not a problem.
But you still need to monitor the usage of other server resources such as RAM to provide adequate resources to each user to maintain their browsing speed.

china traffic will just eat up your ram by using streaming video sites and iran traffic with warez downloads.

 

1) How much can be proxy / proxies worth if they earn 1-3$/day from adsense?
2) Would you be intrested buying this?

 

the earnings can never be the only way to determine the price of any site may it be a proxy or any other site.

the factors which determine pricing for a site are

1) Its domain name(premium/non-premium/only letters/with hyphen/with numbers/etc), its age, time left before expiration, free push or not
2) The sources of traffic,(a site with organic traffic will always have its price twice-thrice than of a site with refferal traffic from a topsite/toplist
3) The age of the site how long its been functioning.
4) How much is the server resources/bandwidth usage


and there are many more factors but in case of proxies these are the only major one's


at present i dont think any established proxy webmaster would be buying it unless it has got good organic traffic as everyone knows the proxy desert is arriving soon

 

when exactly that desert thing gonna start and when wil be the end? (you can tell by roughly estimate date)
