There's a combo that you can do for youtube marketing.

1) Youtube marketing without a video
Semi-spam youtube with comments on videos related to your niche with a real comment with your url. something like this yourdomain dot com

2) Youtube marketing with a video
Make your video and play your url within the video and place your url in the description area of your video.

I hope this will help you with your youtube marketing.

 

Make your own videos, put the address of your site in the start and end of the video. Some people watermark the entire video with the site address. And I even used to do that. But a full length watermark does not look very professional.

Put a link to your site in the first line of the video description.

Make the videos interesting, and informative for your targeted market.

I have been posting video on youtube for 2 years. Youtube is my #2 source of targeted traffic with an 18% bounce rate. At one time, youtbe sent my site as much traffic as yahoo.

When done properly, youtbe can provide your site with a steady stream of targeted traffic. But, you have to make the videos so they are informative or fun to watch.

 

I use YouTube now as a means of marketing, and it definitely works. Just be sure to put your URL in 3 main places:

1. Begging / End of your videos (or both)
2. First line in the description
3. Your Profile URL

I currently do a lot of article marketing (about 25 - 30 articles a week) and get some nice traffic and great conversions from that traffic but I know I need to learn this as well.

I made my first youtube video last night and had 21 views overnight using the methods above. No traffic to my site from them as of yet but I understand part of this is a numbers game.

Do you promote the videos also or just let them sit on youtube and people find/search for them?

jaxrefinance - be sure to embed the video in your site.

When your posting an article, make a video on the same topic as the article. I usually insert the video on the first line of the article, but sometimes 2 or 3 paragraphs down.

People will sometimes click the Statistics & Data link on youtube (its directly under the video) to see who is linking to a video. And then they will see a link to your site.

 

Windows movie maker! works a treat and is easy to use

 

you can make or fine a FUNNY VIDEO which will get alot of natural views,, and then ad the end add your message or ad.

this way you will also get good rating for the video when ppl like it!

I once had a video reach to over 10000 people. All for nothing. It also made the top 100 videos within Youtube Canada
