    Hi dp'ers.

    Im new to the online game, been doing article writing but as well as doing this i have began learning seo.

    I have put links to my website from blogger but they are not showing up as inlinks. How long does it take to show up and what are the best resources available for checking them.

    for google, it can take upto couple of months before you can see the backlinks

    It depends on, when spiders crawl your links. Once they crawl they are indexed, which may take few days to many weeks.

    How are you checking them? In google webmaster tools? They don't update what's shown to you often - every few weeks. Yahoo's site explorer is better at showing you they're catching new links.

    I agree Yahoo is the best way to check backlinks. I also use a program called LPC it will give you a numeric count how many links that each search engine is listing and your link popularity.

    yahoo site explorer is a great tool to check your backlinks.
    But in many ocasions links can become active and boost your serps even if you dont see them showing.
