The difference between spamming (which won't get you anywhere on Youtube) and effective marketing is CONTENT QUALITY and CHANNEL SPECIFICITY. Use youtube the way they want you to use it and you'll be sure to get traffic back from the content (which benefits them) that you post on their site. everybody is doing it. some even put unfinished video with their watermarks. if you wanted to see the whole video, then you have to go to their page. and download..and when you download. they earn thru it.. but its now becoming basic today.
You mean if you find some good movie on the youtube than you post it to social network sites as example of some interesting for other people. Than you put your url in comments of that movie. You can also put your link at the top of the page above the movie. You can use www.longurl.net which is url shortening service with built-in advertising network. You enter source URL (youtube or something else which is interesting and on-topic), than you enter your own ad and ad link (it is your site link or affiliate link). Than you post this url at news, blogs, twitter, facebook... Every person which watch this movie will see your ad at the top. You can also track stats and see how many people load this so you can view which newsgroup, forum or social network board is active and how much. Look at this description for more info... But on you tube you can put your ad on the movie. You can pay for google adwords and than you have an option to put your ad on the movie window. It is also effective and is not expensive.
Very interesting I never thought of putting your links inside your description on YT this DP forum is great for a wanabee like me lol
Really? That's strange because pretty much any video you view with quality content ends up putting some link in the desc. to attract visitors to their site.
Right but also profiles and channels. The video description link is not a slam dunk to get traffic though, you need quality and a LOT of visitors to your video since only a small % click the description link.
