I found this site, it says you can make money with twittter and amazon associates! Link: http://poweroftwitter.synthasite.com/
Will look into it, as per other people replies it seems interesting so I'll give it a try However, thanks for sharing.
I put this up and running yesterday. I've had almost 200 hits to my Amazon account but no sales so far. However, that's the most number of hits I've had in one day so I'm staying with this. Thanks again
Yeah, it's like an epidemic. This system is taking over Twitter. I've been using it myself on a few BANS stores, but you still have to interact. It's not automatic. Most regular users can see through it, since it is so prevalent and everyone is doing it now. I still get better returns from personal interaction and just having a link in my profile, than automated feeds. The automated reply to new followers with the link to sell something is getting pretty old, and turning people off. Basically it's spamming Twitter, and people are very resistant to it.
Really if you think about it your going to spam all your friends on twitter and they will just unfollow you most likely This is Spam is the abuse of electronic messaging systems (including most broadcast mediums, digital delivery systems) to send unsolicited bulk messages indiscriminately. While the most widely recognized form of spam is e-mail spam, the term is applied to similar abuses in other media: instant messaging spam, Usenet newsgroup spam, Web search engine spam, spam in blogs, wiki spam, online classified ads spam, mobile phone messaging spam, Internet forum spam, junk fax transmissions, and file sharing network spam. Spamming remains economically viable because advertisers have no operating costs beyond the management of their mailing lists, and it is difficult to hold senders accountable for their mass mailings. Because the barrier to entry is so low, spammers are numerous, and the volume of unsolicited mail has become very high. The costs, such as lost productivity and fraud, are borne by the public and by Internet service providers, which have been forced to add extra capacity to cope with the deluge. Spamming is widely reviled, and has been the subject of legislation in many jurisdictions.[1]
I agree that the automated response is getting old and turning people off. I use twitter to build my list. I find each email that I collect is worth about $0.50 to me each month. Get a few thousand emails and it starts to add up.
