I am having a soccer blog. It is generating 20K++ unique in March and it grow to 30K++ in April. It is a big growth, but there is no significant increase in revenue. Is there any idea to increase the revenue for my website. I was thinking to: - join some affiliate program - have a store which is selling soccer related product (drop shipping) Is there any thing else I can do to expand my website? I am clueless which affiliate program to join and which drop shipping company to join. I found lightinthebox.com for drop shipping. But, the product is quite cheap but the shipping cost is a little bit high. It required around $35(cost) for each jersey. Please give me some idea or comment.
Yes you should try some selling some link or banner ads at your site for let say $1/CPM. Other than that, you can try some news to your visitor such as latest soccer news is sent to their handphone.
My blog are more in soccer video. I have tried to sell banner, someone come for inquire but no reply after I give a price..
Join affiliate programs that sell shirts and tickets. There are loads of merchants selling football shirts that are always on the lookout for affiliates. If you've got a fair bit of UK traffic, join either Affiliate Future or Affiliate Window. Are you pricing the banner ads correctly? If you price them right, you should be able to find some buyers.
According to my traffic? How much I suppose to charge?? I am charging $15 per month... do you think it is reasonable??
Where does the majority of your traffic come from? SE's or direct referrals? Country? Position of the ads?
This is my soccer site: http://www.soccergoalx.com last month i got around 10K of visitor from SE. the rest are coming from link posting in forum.
Get more text in your website and try contextual ads. Look at your competitors' sites and see what they are doing.
You could try joining a site like Commission Junction or Google Affiliate Network, and sign up with affiliates whose products you can market that have something to do with soccer. There are plenty of them around.
It looks like you have a rather high bounce rate.(43%) Meaning people come and then leave without going further. It also looks like most of your visitors come from Hong Kong via discuss.com.hk and uwants.com Most advertisers know how to find this so if they are not marketing to Hong Kong then there is no need to purchase banner space. Perhaps negotiate advertisement with Hong Kong vendors?
Attracting potential buyers and converting them to paying customers is the primary objective of a business website. Relevant keywords attract relevant traffic that wants to buy what you offer. By expanding your keyword lists you are broadening the potential market for the products you sell.
I got to start writing some soccer article instead the video. That would probably increase royal reader.
