True, but if the one who bought it makes his living from Chinese currency, the Chinese currency is not worth as much as the US dollar so it is more to them. As of August 11, 1 US dollar = 6.8690 Chinese yuan. So rounding up, 22K (US) is actually 154 K (China)
new owner must be having some great ideas for the new domain so he would probably cover back this amount within a few months
This is peanuts next to the conversation I had with someone earlier today. Great deal $20,000 for Bank.com in Chinese (considering there are more Chinese online than English users). Wish I had thought about making an offer on the domain before. I'll probably be writing an absolutely exclusive article on certain information regarding some behind the scenes stuff within the next week or so. None of the information is really going to be released, but WOW IS IT JUICY. You can reg domains in ANY language with the *OH SO FAMILIAR* .com/.net TLD.
i think no Chinese bank will use this domain name unless it is bank.cn Chinese domain names,yes,two chinese on both side of dot..
