So this is oversold?

8GB RAM, so you can fit 8 on in a tight squeeze, so if it was not oversold, you would pay $48/month for a dual quad xeon, which normally cost over $200/month? If it went off normal costs you of a dual quad xeon, you would have to oversell 3x?

You should get cPanel from a reseller that specializes in cPanel licensing as our DC gets zero discounts for cPanel. You can find legit VPS cPanel licenses for about $14.

Additional IPs costs depend on how many you need. If you are buying enough for a block of 8(5 Usable) it is only $4 whereas if you bought then 1x5 it would cost $5.

You are right, but most people will not use near their allotted resources.

 

I had just signed up with this. I know some people who use your1hoster and they were very happy with this. I chatted with the Admin, Jacob prior to purchasing and after and he got everything setup very quickly. I purchased an additional block of ip's like he mentioned. There was a good variety of OS Choices. (Note: The OS image is an minimal OS, so you will need to setup most of what you want yourself. This is a plus in my book, but I am a control freak when it comes to linux.)

We only offer unmanaged servers. Also, all of our servers use Virtuozzo.

 

I want fedora 10 and I meant was your vps managed? I kind of don't know how to open ports in fedora 10.

 

We only offer Fedora 9. Our VPS's are unmanaged.

haha $5, plox? every dollars like worth alot to me I lost $30 to samerhosting.... I lost my forums database and all.
How long you been in service and is your dedicated prepaid in advance?

 

I am very sorry to hear you lost money to Sameerhosting, especially a forum database which can never be replaced. Always make backups, backups, backups.

We have been in business since September of 2008, and we are financially stable to provide quality VPS's on our dedicated servers aka we pay for our servers well in advance(Usually a few weeks before the renewal date).

Do you do free os reinstalls? (btw ive seen hyper-vm and it seems pretty good for instant setup and fast os reload and vps reboots etc, why not offer it?)

 

OS reloads are free, you can do them automatically from Parallels Power Panel. There is no module to have VPS's setup instantly, unlike HyperVM but VPS's are provisioned within an hour after they have passed Maxmind's rigorous fraud check. You can also reboot your machine, etc via the control panel. You can do much more with Virtuozzo than HyperVM, there are so many features you just have to experience it for yourself!

Okay Okay, thanks. I didn't know that was possible to have os reloads in your panel. Now its clear, thanks for your fast replies.
I might switch over fsckvps is great, but I'd like it cheaper and help with my ports, which they aren't replying to my ticket, well they did saying it opened, but when I rescanned still not open. -_- So like 1 month from now I may go to you, I ordered from fskvps a few days ago, wonder if I can get a refund and switch to you.
