Hello, I know nothing about affiliate marketing, so I need some feedback as to if this idea is stupid, or possible. Ok, I have a tech-review blog (Some links are in my signature), I'm thinking about putting up e-bay affiliate advertisements for every review, and using PPC to advertise them, using the review as a landing page. Adwords-> http://technology-review.info/falcon-northwest-mach-review/ (e-bay ads would go where adsense ones are). Do you think i would get very many conversions? Any tips or ideas? Thanks.
You can try...experiment and see what happens. In my opinion - I like the blog, you can try the eBay (or Amazon) affiliate program and see it converts (first try with organic traffic). I doubt you will be able to achieve a high enough conversion ratio to make Adwords PPC advertising viable...but it's probably worth a try.
You might go broke trying to advertise adwords with eBay, since there is a lot of competition. It's worth a shot, but I would spend more money on trying to build up SEO for the page. For example, build links, etc. Also, try joining the NewEgg affiliate program through CJ, they offer a lot of useful banners and code that a person can buy a tech product directly off of your website.
Hold off on the ppc until you have had a chance to learn a LOT about it. PPC can be a great way to lose money fast
