Adsense Income On Blogger?

Can anyone confirm that they or others are able to generate worthwhile (even $1/day) income on a Blogger site using Adsense? Others have mentioned that they prefer buying a domain vs. using a service such as Blogger. I have been developing several niche blogs on Blogger and just want to make sure that I'm not wasting time.

Has anyone been listed on the first page of google for their keyword(s) using a Blogger site?

yes blogger makes money. Their is a site call sarkari naukri and is in the 1st position in google search

@drenn24 - Consider these points:

1) Google owns Blogger ( is a company going to like an entity it owns? Yes )
2) Google are a search engine. Does it rank blogger blogs for competitive terms in its index? Yes, if the webmaster knows how to get those rankings.
3) As points 1 and 2 are true, a ton of traffic is available for competitive terms therefore earning potential can run into thousands a month for one site.
4) Will most people make that? No because not everyone can be in the top 10 for competitive terms and it takes a level of skill to get there.
5) Is it possible? Yes.

Is a $1+ a day possible on obscure long tail keyword phrases? Yes.

Sure you can earn a dollar a day on a blogger blog using adsense. The problem with blogger is not it's income generating capacity. The problem is the risk of loss of content. Which really is a bummer

 

Yes, I make a dollar or more a day from my blogs... it can be done. Most people make more then that.

Bit confused when you say buying a domain VS using a service like Blogger. You can still use the Blogger platform and host it with them and then just forward your subdomain onto your own domain in a minute or so. A new domain only costs £6.00 or so with GoDaddy and setup takes 30 or so minutes. You then fully own the blog. With the hosting, I have found they are quite reliable and so I see no need to move away.

If Adsense aint workin out for you then push some affiliate programs.

 

yes i know a person making 100 USD per day using blogger - many are making that way No problem in using blogger.

 

If you do good job on backlinks with quality contents, definitely can beat those paid hosting.

 

Blogger is really a great option if you dont know much about self hosting a wordpress site. I self host my blog but I also spend a lot of time playing with code just to match the pre-done "seoness" of blogger. The reason I never used blogger is because I like to have total control over my site.

 

You can actually generate $1/day from blogger blog (I earn about $1~$2 from my blogger blog). However, the problem is adsense no more approve free blog since Jan 2009.

Yes, i did. Blogger is same as other blog/website to rank first at google search. What you need to do is SEO

 

If you are having unique content Blogger is the easiest way to listed in Google.

 

You can make decent money from Blogger. My blog generates about $600/month. Helps pay the rent.
