Yeah certainly not adsense lol, that makes me like $20 a month. I'm running a PTC site and it's been incredibly successful considering it's only a month old, but on average it seems to make somewhere around the $200 mark a day, I ran a big sale a week or so ago and pulled in around $1,040 in a day, that was nice. However today, I've made ~$60. I guess that's not terrible.
I couldn't agree more. If it isn't something you are really interested in, you won't have the stamina to stick through all the ups and downs.
Im Still young got alot to learn but anyone who has a dream in the webmaster world can make a great living off of there websites
Less time on DP = more time working and bringing new ideas to life, lol Seriously though, been making a living online for the last 3 years or so. Gotta move to India or some other warm and cheap country, there I'd be a millionaire.
People who earn much never will say anything about their tactics. I earn money on net but not enough for living, but I keep following my instinct and I hope that I will earn enough money from net business for living.
I do make a living online. I did this part-time for about 3 years before I got the nerve to jump in. My tips: Do not worry so much about what other people are doing to make a lot of money. On the other hand, don't always be afraid to jump into a competitive niche. I think you will have the best luck finding a niche that you have some interest in because you will need to work hard to develop and promote your website, and it won't seem like such hard work if you like the topic. I also make the most money in a very competitive niche, but I try to take a little different "slant" on it then most of the other websites. I run about 30 domains in a dozen niches now. About 90% of them barely pay hosting. It's those 3 that work that really work. Everything can probably work with enough effort, but with limited time and resources you have to follow the money and the lowest ROI. Again, I make a decent living that pays my car payment, mortgage, bills, groceries, and modest savings, but am no super affiliate. I am still looking for that next good website.
I make a very decent amount in the months in which i am able to give time because i work as a writer. For me time spent on work is directly proportional to money earned. My best was800$/month.Considering I am in my teenage till now and live in India this is quite good.what say?
It is very realistic to try to live off of the internet from being a webmaster. You just need to have the skills and guts to do so. Also many webmasters will have a fairly good month then put buy a phone or spend the money. This is why it is very tough for people to get to the point of living off of the internet. The person who makes $500 to $1000 a month won't be living off of it, but if they take that money and invest in 75% of it back into their sites or whatever then they will easily triple their earning in a few months, and then they can live from their work on the internet. I do not make enough to work at home on the internet becuase I have a good job and I will only stop once my profits have surpassed the job. But its not to say it's worth it. I still do own a 07 mustang Cali verision becuase of the extra income.
I have been a full time webmaster for about a year now. I waited until I was making twice my corporate job income and had plenty of savings before I quit. Been working hard to build up my sites for 8 years. That is what it takes.
I am a mortgage broker I started SEO from scractch 2 years ago, All of my income is from my website. 1 lead can make me between £500 - £2000. follow the basics have agood product and you will make money.
I played at trying to make money online for the last 3 years. bought a lot of junk looking for that easy way to make it. I started a program myself finding all the free info i could. then I got into a paid program in late January. This was the time for me to get serious about online marketing. It has only been 3 months now, I have 14 web sites up and running. and I am ranking on the first page of google for 4 of my sites main keywords and there is just basic content and no links. so i figure I am getting on the right track. This month i start to monetize them. So, while I am not making it full time yet, I will be getting somewhere soon. I agree as stated here before that you should pick a topic that interests you. but the best motivator for me was my family and wanting to spend more time with them. If i canget to 1500 a month I can live quite nicely.
