How to increase site traffic??

I have site www.mumbaiproperties.info which has good results for my secondary keywords say residential flats in mumbai...But now i want to target my site for the main keyword that is flats in mumbai.. please suggest me some tips where i can submit my site and get traffic for the main keyword..I have also added blog to my site for real estate and property discussion in site (www.mumbaiproperties.info/blog) but that page hasnt been indexed by Google...

 

You should then do both on-site and off-site optimization specifically for "flats in mumbai".

 

Start SEO of your site with respect to particular region. I am sure you will get traffic.

If you want to rank well for a certain keyword, build links with your targeted keywords in them.

If you have not done so, sign up for a google webmaster account. Then go into your google webmaster tools and look for "what google bot sees". This will tell you what keywords your backlinks are targeting.

On a personal note, I usually spend at least 6 months building links with a targeted keyword. Well, that is 6 months or until I start ranking well in that keyword. And then I will move to the next keyword and start building links on that word.

another thing you can do too:-

1) write an article about mumbai properties for about 500word, you can outsource it to third party to write it for you then submit to article directory.
2) you record your voice the same above article in a mp3 then submit to podcast site at the end of the recording speak out your url.
3) create a search engine friendly site (squidoo,hubapges,youtube etc etc) that link back to your http://www.mumbaiproperties.info/
4) create a group in facebook
5) create a free report with the same article ( add 2 @ 3 paragraph into it) then give it as a free report to your subscriber

all above apply and for sure you will get more traffic.

try to add the site in Google webmaster tool and submit the robost.

 

Submit your site to real estate directories .. do some social bookmarking which increase your SERP ? do some real estate forum posting and blog commenting in high quality blogs ...

I think backlinks can increase your site traffic.

But there is also a little code if you use that code in your blog then your blog posts will remain at top level in Google SE always. Due to that little code Google will give priority to your blog posts and it will show them in first pages. Due to Google high priorities other search engines will also include your posts and blog automatically in there search results.

 

Do SEO for your keywords, try to get back links from relevant sites.
Add new and fresh content everyday.

Submit your sites to various search engines.
Do remember, google is your main shot. Concentrate on your google SERP.

I would suggest you to register a new domain with "flats in mumbai" included, eg. flatsinmumbai.com

 

You can try forum signature link building. 10-20 links will help you get a rank for a keyword.
