Hello Friends ! I have website that was having PR of 1 on April 16th, 2009. But when I checked today it was zero. How it happens? What should be done in such cases? Thanks
Also I just checked that my blog ( http://www.pharmacystudies.blogspot.com ) is not indexed in Google today while it was there yesterday? Is there some problem in Google?
Hello friend! As you have said that before your Pr was 1 and now there is no pr , But google don't do so, you have surely done mistake to see it. As my knowledge is concern , if you get pr once you don't never loose it. Thanks mover packer delhi mover packer faridabad
It looks like google has indexed 7 pages of your blog. Repeat the search you did, but take out the www. The address should just be pharmacystudies.blogspot.com - with an http:// in the front of the address. If your site lost page rank, that means that some of your links disappeared. Google shows that your blog has 3 links from one site.
How it is possible?? I also research, but still only backlinks are shown there. It should be ALL ABOUT PHARMACY on no.1 on google when I search for my blog url. Also Please let me know if you are able to see google logo on its homepage (googl.com)? Here it is showing colored dots in stead of GOOGLE on homepage of google. Is it same at your end?
Not true... You most certainly can lose PR once you get it. If your page gets de-indexed, it will lose ALL PR. If pages that link to your page fall from the index or get penalized or lose inbound links themselves or one or more of your inbound for some reason is no longer being counted by Google or has been devalued then your page will be passed less PR which can result in a dramatic drop in PR like from PR4 or PR5 down to PR0 if it happens to enough of your inbound links. The LINK: operator AND the Dashboard -> Links -> Pages with external links screen in Google's Webmaster Tools BOTH show only a sample of your known inbound links to a given URL. Google rarely shows all of your inbound links. And they will include inbound links that do NOT count toward your URL's PR like NOFOLLOW links or links from pages on other sites that are currently being penalized. Google doesn't want you to know exactly how many links they are seeing and/or which links count toward your PR and rankings in the SERPs. If you want a better picture of your backlink profile, use the LINK: operator at Yahoo! Search for link:yoururlhere and then look at the results. Yahoo! will show you all the URLs linking to your page that 'they' know about. But it should be noted that Google will frequently have slightly different list since each of the engines has different pages in their index. But Yahoo! provides the most exhaustive list of your backlinks of the two.
The PR of a page depends on it's inbound links. If those links change the PR changes. So better check yours.
