    Hey guys.

I wrote an article on my blog the other day about the golden rules of registering domains. I'd love to hear your views on it so that I can improve future posts.

The best "Don't"s that I can come up with is :

Don't register gibberish domains. Just because you found a domain that has two real words together, doesn't man that it will do you or anyone else any good..it's still gibberish. What you think you may gain having a keyword in the domain, you will lose in credibility if you are building anything other than a spam site.

If you are registering domains in the English language, the rules of grammar and pronunciation still apply. If you stare at almost anything long enough, you will talk yourself into a use for a domain that is otherwise useless to others.

Great advice. I think that too many people will buy rubbish domains that (a) can't be made into a site as it's irrelevant to anything, and (b) has no resell value. In this case the domain buyer has effectively wasted their money.

Yeah, in the comments section I went into detail about the fact that if you misuse it (by gaining from their copyright name), you can get sued for it. Sorry, should have made it clear. Still, thanks for the comment ;)

Then you're lucky, I guess. If you especially made money off their trademarks
with those domains, then it's probably a question if they'll pay attention and
    finally take action against you.

Not all people who violate the speed limits get caught. Those that do, though,
    tend to pay a price.

Unless possibly losing those domains to their trademark holders won't be such
a problem, and if you're prepared for that possbility.
