    Hi guys,

I was just wondering if anybody has ever done testing on what is the best time to send out emails?
I would expect around 8AM, that way it's close to the top row when people open up their email at about 9AM in the morning.

What's up with Tuesday and Wednesday?

I think mornings are the best time to send out emails. But don't discount the afternoon to evening schedule, too. It's during those time when people are a lot more relaxed and they tend to read all emails in their inbox.

    Hello,

This really all depends on your market and your niche. I mean you have to know your audience and see when is their normal time for being online, reading emails, being active online.

All this plays a key role in knowing when is the best time to start and send your emails, so that you will get the most impact.

I could imagine Tuesdays and Wednesdays to be the better days of the week to send our emails because people are so inundated and overwhelmed with the emails & SPAMs that have piled up over the weekend on Mondays that they are less likely to read or take actions.

I wanted to test out 3 time ranges: mornings, noon and evening (4-5 PM-ish).
OK my subscribers are from the North America and Europe predominantly and I am trying to get them to not just read my emails but also take actions. The time difference is not a problem as my email management script is timezone-aware.
So if I wanted to send out emails at 9AM, the script will adjust itself based on the timezone of my subscriber.

Hey good question. Actually the best time would be sundays since everyone is home on sundays and they pay more attention to the computer. So go head and try it out :) at the evening hours.

I personally have had success on Tuesdays, In the morning hours. Don't know why, but it is like that.

Tuesday mornings as it's the best medium point. Everyone's looking to be productive. Better than Monday mornings as everyone's getting adjusted to the "work week."

The best time to send out email to your prospect is tuesday and thursday around 9.30am to 10.30am as this is the most busiest time where marketers, individual work at home users or companies checking their daily work.

But it depends on what type of promo you are going to send. Some emails are very effective sending on daily basis but some good for once a week.

I never, ever put any thought into this -- I have an aweber account with a couple hundred subscriptions -- I'll see what the next reaction to my weekly newsletter is if i send it out Tuesday morning.

I don't think there is a "best time", it really depends upon the content of your email

    There is no best time.

Make sure they are not at sleep. Do some testing on when your customers open their inboxes.

Late Monday night (12:00 or so) or early Tuesday morning has got the best conversions for me.
