Just logged in to Adsense and noticed a link saying I could display my earnings in my local (Australian) currency. Is this a new thing or has this been around for a while? Everyone else get it or is it just certain currencies? Cheers James
This was launch few months ago and you can actually request check with your local currency. However, this only available in certain currency.
The issue is what if the dollar gets stronger against local currency? Google only gives yesterdays conversion rate. So if €1 = $1.32, but by the end of the month its €1 = $1... you just lost 32% on your earnings. Pierce
I noticed this when I logged into today. However the Terms and Conditions have changed that you have to accept before you can move currencies - so I'm not so sure.
Thanks all for the replies. I have to agree. it is nice to see what you have made in you own currency. To be honest, I can't remember where the link was for it.. but it must have been in an obvious place for me to see it as I usually just log in, check my stats. then log out.. Yep, thats right... I know that a few months back Google started offering people that used a certain currency (Euro?) the option to have there money exchanged to there currency on a daily basis, so if there was a big change in exchange rate just before they were about to be paid, it would not affect them. (don't think that is whats happening in my case though) I did notice the new terms, but couldn't really find anything that struck me as a major change so I just agreed. Cheers James
