Another quick one.
Example- you have a site about furniture.
Quick way to find webmasters to contact asking for link exchange or offering free content for links
Search on DP then there easy to contact, build up some rep and itrade and also they understand how it all works so should be a quick deal
Search here look for people who have bought furniture articles and sites or who are buying/selling links related to furniture

I am no longer surprised when I ask for a linkback and I get it. When I don't ask for a linkback I am assured of not getting it - every time. Getting links IS hard work but it does pay off. Not every time to be sure but I don't get on the net any longer without shooting of an email, bookmarking a site, or asking for a linkback. The worst that has ever happened is the webmaster did not email me back. I was devastated- jk. I have had a number of customers who have emailed me and pointed out errors- I never get upset at the customer-ever. I am disappointed that I allowed the error to exist and I appreciate that someone took the time to point it out to me.

I do like the way jenny thinks! a bit outside the box wouldn't you say?

I have picked up more here in reading all the posts than in the last month of digging. Thanks for starting this thread.

 

what do you suggest for a new recipe blog, I've tried emailing other blogs and sites but they dont reply =[ I be real polite but so far out of 30 emails Ive sent, ive only gotten 1 link kinda starting to loose hope

 

I'm not really sure why people use blogs. I just don't get what their role is.

Ok what about writing some list posts on your site to attract links or some linkbait content
"Womens fake boobs explode on plane" that should get peoples attention, or
"The 10 most expensive prices of underwear" something like that.

Contact women bloggers and offer discount of your underwear or even give freebies and ask them to review the products.

 

Good thread Jenny. It's refreshing to see something actually different for a change - it's getting me thinking anyway! I work in the niche of hypnotherapy audio downloads. Any advice for obtaining links/publicity for this area?

Thanks jenny1985, I never thought of that. I sometimes blog about a site which I think will be a good article but never thought of asking for a link back.
