    Hi,
I'm new to SEO field. I have a question regarding the time it takes to jump to top 10 in Google for a brand new site in case the keywords have:
    a) 1 mil competitors
    a) 2 mil competitors
    a) 3 mil competitors
Let's suppose that we use white-hat SEO.
    Regards.

For new websites, It will take time approx 3-4 months to get in top 10 results, If website is older more than 1 year and already have some backlinks, in that case website come within 2 months at Google fist page.

    Regards

There's never going to be an exact correlation, you'll always be comparing apples with oranges.
A search term that has 1 million results doesn't have 1 million competitors. The competitors are the first few pages that have targeted that keyword.
For some keywords with a million results, the keyword itself has commercial potential, so there will be a lot of sites within that million targeting it.
But in other keywords with a million results, it's for a common word, that gets used a lot, but has little commercial interest, so maybe only the first couple of pages are actually optimised for it.

It may take so much time, just depends on the amount of work you are putting in, and how effective your SEO is.

Its depend on the method. Sometimes you can get that position within one month. But you should continue in link building to retain the position.

My website was on the first page yesterday. My main keyword has a little over 500,000 competitors. It took 2,5 month. Maybe that helps.

Also, new websites take longer to move up in the results than old websites. Old websites already have some credibility.
