Getting higher google rankings for my articles

Started a new blog yesterday, it's tech review site (link is in my signature). I was wondering what the best method to get them higher rankings on google is (the articles, not the homepage).
Example:

Keyword: Samsung Omnia Review
To: http://technology-review.info/samsung-omnia-review/

It's not like I can submit that to legit directories, they would require a homepage URL.

I don't like spamming comments on blogs to get backlinks, it's unethical IMO.

So, any suggestions?

(BTW, site isn't even crawled by google yet, I just made it)

 

1. Submit your RSS feed
2. Look for more forums that will allow latest blog feed
3. Utilize the signature space in forum to link to 4 different internal pages
4. Some free directories accept deep links (web-directories.ws has a good list), submit your pages there.
5. Comment on blogs (not spam) with comment luv plugin
6. Write guest posts (you can get link to any page you wish)
7. If you are good, social bookmarking can get you a lot of traffic + links.

You can also use Digg, Propeller, Mixx for each post to get it crawled in 4 - 6 hours
