Hi! Almost all website owners want to promote their site. Most webmasters concentrate on online marketing! They almost forget about marketing offline. Why not you make them remember about offline marketing while making cash? Here is my idea: Goto www.xperia.biz Select a promotional item! Add your website to it (check below for a sample mousepad). This will be your sample to show your clients! Contact bloggers/website owners through the contact form in their site or via online forums and ask them whether they are interested in marketing offline. Show them your sample (Just send the image). These mousepads, promo watches etc can be used for offline marketing by the website owners. I'm sure Most people will be interested with your offer! Set price with a small profit margin! Pay for the item at Xperia and ship it directly to your buyer(Shipping is free worldwide). Remember to keep the margin around $1. The more number of items you sell, the more money you make! If you get reseller account at xperia, you'll get things for more cheap! You can also try selling these items at ebay! Marketing among webmasters is just an idea which is obviously a small market! Look for more markets and expand your sales! Think out of the box. The profit is yours!
Just get promo products for less price and sell it to webmasters for slightly high price! Thats the basic idea!
It's interesting, I'm not sure how many people want custom watches though. Custom shirts are always a good time. How many customers are you getting from this? How much traffic and SEO is being done on this site?
I know this is really tough to do in the Canadian market. The merchandising competition is huge here. Something to note as well is your profit margin. A lot of places already offer these services to webmasters, even with the ability to sell to their own users. - http://www.printfection.com/
I never tried this before.. Just brainstorming the idea here! Yes. There are many.. but how many webmasters/business owners really know this? What I'm saying exactly is instead of getting customers to the shop, bring the shop to the customer's place! Contact the customer with your product directly! Hope you got my point!
How the item quality? Can it match or surpass the cafepress quality? And i do notice that it offer a few product only.
I think we can use the same method even with Cafepress, Zazzle, ShirtCity and similar sites too! I purchased some mousepads and one watch a month back! I'm satisfied with their quality at this site some days back! The thing I like with Xperia is free shipping worldwide and they accept paypal for payments! I never tried cafepress. I came out of them because of its cost and I hope they don't accept paypal as payment gateway!
tis good but most offline advertising is very expensive and is very competitive... its a good idea that most businesses will probberly buy but remember that it wont work for some sites. , EG hosting--- a person looking for hosting would be on his computer looking for a deal not neccesary out and about:/ good idea though if items are cheap...
Expose to the world your t-shirt designs by having a blog about it. You can show designs in your blog site. In that way, your product will not only be seen locally, but it can be viewed worldwide. This can attract possible clients.
Yup! This method won't work for all type of business but I hope it will work with more businesses! If you're in college, you can get bulk T-Shirts at dropshipping price for your college functions! If you know some college students, You can also ask them to get T-Shirts from you for their functions!
There's more cost involved in this and there's no guaranty if return of investment too. Affiliate products online are much cheaper and 'll do more busines than this. I don't think anyone 'll love spending $1500 for 100 T-shirts. Instead, $1500 can bring in a huge huge traffic. Also, expenditure on the website site that offers services increases. This involves huge marketing costs, less returns, and loss. To conver up the loss incurred, the services cost go up and finally competition sucks and business collapses. I'm talking at the view from the website owner who needs marketing done. Even a paper ad would not cost anything more and the visibility is very high
Thats not a bad idea, a lot of people do forget about offline marketing. There were a few websites that were good for that, I'm trying to remember the name...
You're talking about just traffic! Why not you think about Branding? May be you're just viewing as a webmaster as you said! There are lot of other such markets too! You're not going to pay before getting the order! Just get the money from your client and pay for the products! You're just a middleman! So, literally Zero investment! Paper Ad will be for one day! But with T-Shirts others will advertise your site until the T-Shirt is good!
