Microsoft's version of Adsense (pubCenter) is picking up momentum since their announcement of it going into an 'open' beta yesterday. See the Microsoft blog-post HERE.

I'm guessing they've been flooded with applications to join so I would not get discouraged if you've applied and dont hear back right away.

U.S. based publishers can sign-up HERE.

I am glad that it is finally making a move!

As they say, Better late than never...
Hope they do not follow yahoo's footsteps of keeping this program in beta for years to come!

    Regards,

Do they have any indication when they will roll this out to the rest of the world as it could be a sound business move for them, yahoo never really got going.

It's high time for someone to get in the way of Adsense for a fair deal to the Publishers !

Use Google's traffic to serve up Microsoft's ads. Just doesn't get better than that :D

Received this within minutes of signing up

I'd expect that most everyone with a site - whether it strictly meets their criteria or not is applying. As so many are frustrated with Yahoo and even many with Google they will have in excess of 100,000 applicants to cherry pick from in the first week or so.
