whats the matter plz

    me daily visit my forum and chaking some thing last 2 day me see many bots come on my forum.. Google ( Bots) Yahoo ( Bots) Alexa ( Bots) and now me see Baidu [Spider] on my forum what is that any one tell me whats the matter why bots come on my forum what thy do with my forum plz tell me any one

    Bots come to your forum to copy your content :eek:. You may stop their activities and can stay ALONE with your forum :D.

    The best way to stop bots crawling your site is to run your forum on an offline server - you can easily do this yourself using something like XAMPP. As long as your server isn't connected to the internet you'll be protected from bots, and you'll still be able to admin your forum and create new threads. I have a forum running on a spare offline computer in my storeroom - but it doesn't get much traffic.

    I have the same problem! Google copying my content and then placing my links on their site as if it's their own! :mad:
