Backlinks may be updating

Up a little over 500 BL's today across almost all of the datacenters

 

I'm seeing BL changes for all of our sites. Some good, some not good.

 

I'm seeing a jump in BL's from 78 to 182. YEAH!

 

I am seeing some increases on my sites!! I expect the next update will drop some again. (Some sort of teeter-toter algo for backlinks.)

 

Using DPs tool I see an increase, but link: command I see the old figure.

An interesting side note, the site that I use to point coop links to my main site (it has the network on it), has dropped in pages in URL from over 6000 to 51 (what? I have 5400 products!). Whereas my main site, which I have removed the network from to be safe, has risen in both links and pages in URL.

 

Have seen BLs in google - up to 1100 from 80.

This is the DC I have seen my BL's increased.

 

Mine are up to 84 from 50. A step in the right direction at least. I'd love to see a pr updated though.

 

Drop of 400 links althrough i think that has more to do with the fact that my weight is more spread now for more then just one page. Increase of backlinks for all other pages.

 

I spread my weight out over several domains, didn't want G to see the BL's pick up too fast, MSN is still showing over 5K.

Any ideas on how fast would be considered too fast as far as gaining BLs? I'm guessing the rise from <300 to 850ish over the past couple months should look 'normal' enough not to be looked at too harshly.

 

Mine have jumped from 1800 to 2500. And my clients' websites, woooooooooooooow. Great Update so far. DO you see changes in SERPS ?

 

Google is now showing approx. 50,000 Backlinks for my site.. but only about 5k for any individual page... the 50k are spread out over about a dozen main catagory pages. All ranking nicely, btw for very competitive terms

Too many backlinks in a short period of time and hitting a filter is a major concern for us also. So far we've been lucky to avoid any such filter. Had I have pointed all my links (including *tuns* of co-op weight) all to my index page, we would have been out of the index long ago.

In any case, thank you Shawn!! For providing this amazing co-op! I owe a *great* portion of the success above to the co-op. Our daily traffic is currently above 3,300 unique daily.

Yup, I was just updated today as well...for what it's worth.

 

well nothing much I guess, still 14000 to 24000 on yahoo... depending what to I use.
G gives credits for 266..... dropped from 2000 to 249 and now up to 266.

 

I also see 3 sets of numbers for www.komar.org as you do above - yea, pretty bizzarre.

Is it just me, or did this update go a lot faster than that last one? I went from 50 to 84 from one day to the next in all the DCs. I guess that's not bad cosidering for the longest time I had a measly 1. I have to wonder where these number come from though. MSN hits me almost as much as G does and they have me at 1346 BLs. Yahoo, on the other hand, only stops by a few times every few days. Y has way fewer pages indexed than G or MSN, but reports 2600 BLs.

 

What tool are you guys and gals using to check your backlinks? I must have added at least 50 backlinks in the last couple of months, mostly from free directories. Yet I havent seen an increase from this current BL update.
