What is Good CTR for Good Earning today my ctr gone very low how i improve my ctr??? its effected by traffic or any thing else.....
Placement and blending are two things that can improve your CTR that you can control.. Ad relevance which you can't control is also a large factor.
A CTR of 5-7% can be treated as good one. Any CTR above that will be considered as suspicious by Google.
CTR depends on the type of website you have. For example: if you have a forum then a CTR of 2% is quite ok. To increase CTR: Try different ad units like, 336*280 or 250*250 etc, and put them in different ad placements. Try different combinations of ad units and ad placements to see which one gives you the best CTR.
Not affected by traffic, but by quality of traffic. except for forums, a CTR below 5% is not good. You don't want to go higher than 15% because it means something is wrong, you're maybe overdoing the ads-above-content thing, and that may be a cause for concern.
i'm starting to think ppl just open new DP account and ask stupid questions over and over again for the fun of it
I would consider anything above 1% to be good for me. I hover around 0.4% despite placement and blending of ads and having a very percentage of traffic from search engines. So I would say the subject of your website is also very important.
That all depends on a couple of things.. A CTR of 10% will not earn you much if all you get is 10 impressions a day. And a CTR of 0.1% can earn you quite a bit if you get 100,000 impressions a day. So I guess it all comes down to how many impressions you get per day, and what your interpretation of "good earnings" is As stated above, placement, blending + trial & error. Don't feel to bad, one of my sites has a CTR of 0.1%. lol, that site ironically earns 95% of my online income. Cheers James
A subject that unless you are a Physician or Attorney you probably can't write about and has been beat to death. And on blogspot no less. You think Google is going to reward MFA sites by pounding advertiser budgets with links from a property they already own?
It is really depends on the website/niche/project. I have some with 1% CTR but large eCPM and some with 4-5%CTR with lower eCPM. Just find some thing you like and improve it
