What is Email marketing

I want to know what is email marketing and how it will helpful to grow business i daily sent 200 mmails but i never get any reply ?

 

In Email marketing, the information about the product along with the features, benefits and advantages is sent to the prospective customers. This saves the time of the customers and they can easily get the information on the inbox at their places. For that purpose the email IDs are being arranged from some or the other sources by the company. It is being used as one of the tools for marketing the product, it is also sometimes referred as silent marketing.

 

unless you are emailing people that are already your customer, email marketing generally = spam

 

...and people tend not to reply to spam.

what does this have to do with google?

 

email marketing is effective only when you sell a product online and you need atleast a 100,000 contacts to whom you need to send mail to start getting the results.

 

Email marketing is not considered as a spam if your visitors know you and your products. Most successful affiliate marketers use autoresponders to generate more sales and profit. The only thing is autoresponders are not free to use and it will cost some money, the company have software to track 1000s of your visitors' name and email address and whenever you want to promote your new product they can help send to 10,000s of your subscribers. The subscribers, of course have choice to unsubscribe from the email marketing service if they feel it is annoying.

 

Email marketing takes a large quantity of contracts because many disregard them as spam.

 

Email marketing is a marketing tool through which you throw a sales pitch at your prospective customers. If you are promoting a tool, a product, a website, you can provide information, reviews, etc. about it. But if you are sending emails to random people, it would be considered as spam.

 

Well there are 2 kinds of email list.

The kind where people gave you their email and the kind where you got their email from some database.

In both these cases you should have a link in the email where they can unsubscribe from your list. Even if it only opens an email window, to your email address.

Both types of types of emails can be monetized, either by direct links or by links to a landing page. If you want responses from database emails, you need to very narrowly target your offering. For instance if you have a new educational product and you have an email database of schools, in your country. That could work.

Just emailing blindly doesn't work and is illegal in many countries.

I have had some success with email marketing so I know what I am talking about.

You can also be extra careful and make this a double opt-in where the subscriber must confirm their subscription before they join your list.

 

Email marketing is usually just spam, unless you have a quality list of emails from your niche.

"Promoting your website / product through emails is known as Email Marketing".

 

"EMAIL MARKETING" = SPAM. PERIOD.

THE MOST HATED CRAP ON THE INTERNET.
When your inbox gets to 95% spam, you must change your email address, AND keep it secret.
All because of idiot "email marketers". The biggest ones go to jail. Thank G0d!

The number of spam emails that I would answer is minus 1,000,000.
If you want people to hate your guts, just use "email marketing".
They are JUST LIKE telemarketing phone calls. NOBODY wants them!

I think email marketing is losing power and effectiveness because the majority of people who are receiving commercial emails on a daily basis, tend deleting them even unread.

 

That's completely untrue if you actually provide things of value in your emails your subscribers will not only read all your emails but will be awaiting them each month.
