My girlfriend and my kids say I spend too much time online. Does your family say that

My girl and kids always complain about how much time I don't give them. I try to explain to them that, I don't want to work in a warehouse for the rest of my life.

I only make $100 or so a month online so I know if I was making more money they would shut up!
I have several sites that I administer daily and I'm always learning something new, that captures my attention for days.
I tell them if they don't stop complaining I won't buy them anything when I get rich. LOL

But anyway, does your family complain about how much your online?
If so how do you handle it?

I also think that I spend too much time online and my family thinks the same.

They keep telling me and I still keep doing it. But its not good for health and family ties. So, we should try to strike a balance between time spend online and offline.

Yep. me too! Although my job requires me to work online from 7pm til 12 pm Mondays to Fridays. I still stayed around 1 to 2 hours more at night or in the morning. My daughter complains all the time. So i guess i have to fiz my schedule. or else they will all hate me. LOL!

Yes,my wife always tells me that i spend most of the time online and she daily suggest me to quit for some time but i don't listen to her as i became dp addict!

My Wife says the same to me however, she doesn’t have any problems spending the money that I make.

Yup, my family members say that i spend lots of time on internet !!

Even my friends use to say that i spend much time there and shouldn't spend that much time.

 

No, my family members never complain about that. Actually, when I stay at home, usually I get only 2/3 hours to surf the internet. I spend most of the time at office and stay connected to the internet. During the break I pass a nice time in DP. Anyway, I surf internet less than 4 hours!

 

well, the hardest thing for me is to explain to my parents what i'm doing sitting all day long in the front of my pc..they're kinda people who actually doesn't really care of the word "advanced" technology. And unfortunately, they consider internet as an advanced one.. `sigh`

 

I get the same thing from my hubby - my 15 y old, not so much. I guess it would help if I cut my hours a bit, I work from 6 am to 1 am daily!

 

My ex used to say the same thing. But she has to drag herself out of bed every morning and bounces from job to job...

i like this. only result will tell. i don't spend my time online often because i divide my time equally. maybe you should do that
