i agree with Alex. Make sure you are in a market where there is a healthy level of competition. If there is an established marketplace then you have a better chance of earning money in quicker timeframe. You just have to make sure you outperform your competitors to ensure that you get the sale/commission etc.
Also key - is picking your niche - and giving it a solid go, before jumping to another. So that first decision is important. All the best TS
I've been running several blogs with different niche, from my experience, if you are using adsense as your main income, travel and credit card debt niche is the best...sometimes each clicked ads give me $3-$8...if you want using affiliate products like clickbank, weight loss is the best niche IMO...
I bet if you could make a good mesothelioma site you would get some money. It is one of the highest paying keywords (for adsense).
There is no way of making easy money unless you win a lottery. Pick a niche that you have experience in eg. a hobby, interest etc. then work on that IMHO.
Yes, that's what I'm trying now. I worked in the MakeMoneyOnline niche and got nowhere. Now I am giving it a good shot with Fitness and Weight Loss eBooks. In addition to that, I have a product that is targeted for the "Fun and Famous Quotations" niche. Does anybody know if that's a good idea, or are there just too many free websites that deal in quotations?
The best niche is the one that you are familiar with or, one that you research and become familiar with.
Agreed, that's what I'm focusing on now, getting into the article marketing strategy to promote my products. I am happy for those who can succeed with the MMO stuff, but it seems too cut-throat out there right now for me to get anywhere. I'm hoping I will get results in the Weight Loss/Fitness niche, and the Quotations market is something I am knowledgeable about so I will dedicate most of my attention to that.
I agree- Make sure when you do the niche thing You know what you are doing- people will quickly pick up on someone who is not really into that particular niche by the terms and phrases they use- use you passions for making money works for anyone who tries it- people see and feel the passion and will buy from someone who is like them in what the passion involves.
Not necessarily, you could always hire a consultant/knowledgeable writer to create content for your site. Basically, this is what successful ppl do - they outsource work they do not want/cannot do themselves. Cheers.

I would suggest choosing Finance or health niche. And if you are an expert of a niche, start with that nche
Now that you mention it sir, may i asked someone what best affiliate program can I put on a travel related website? It's been months since I am looking for a website.
Parenting might be a good niche. CBS reports there were a record number of babies born in 2007 (USA).
Let's put it this way...if it is listed here, then everyone and their mother has been on it for a while. Any niche is profitable if you know Internet Marketing and SEO..no matter what it is. If there is a program selling it, there is room to make a success from it. It's not the product, it's the knowledge and dedication of the person running the company. You can search for niche's all day long...you are just wasting time. Pick one, research, and learn the business. There is no secret formula or special niche that is going to be easier than any other....you still need to know the business and be willing to learn and work continuously until you are successful, or you will be changing niches every 2 months with no success.
