I haven't really used article marketing much but I want to give it a try for people who are following my case study so that I can report results. I have written four articles, I just want to know what the usual rules are for putting links in the articles. I hear Ezine only approve links in the text if they are near the end of an article, is this correct? I ask because I would like to get my articles approved quicker rather than having to keep re-writing them
This link might help you. http://ezinearticles.com/editorial-guidelines.html I have submitted articles to EZA though I've been lazy lately. Anyway, there was one article I submitted in the past that was rejected. EZA said that my links should not be placed in the first paragraph. So I changed it, removed the link and placed it somewhere in the middle.
Well, there is a paid service where you can submit articles and bloggers in the network are allowed to copy your articles with up to 3 links of your choice embedded in the article. I think they have a 30 day money back guarantee so theres not much to loose. And all of your already copied articles on other peoples blogs will still be intact. Havent seen this service before but I have been working with SEO and I think the concept is really great. (will try it myself very soon)
Ezine articles prefer you to place your links in the resource box. As a rule i put all my links in the resource box as it does tend to increase approval rate.
I tend to put all my links in the last paragraph as well as the "sale pitch". The basic idea I go with is something like “To find out more about (subject *anchored text*) you can visit (site name).†Good luck
Ditto. I put the links in the resource box. In the body, I limit the link to 1 or 2 otherwise it will be rejected by EZA. Read up on the editorial guidelines and author TOS to help you get started.
I do not put links in the body of the article; I only put links in the resource box. I never had an article rejected by an editor... Frankly, I am debating the usefulness of posting articles on ezinearticles vs posting articles on my own blog. It seems like adding articles to my own blog is more beneficial than submitting them to ezinearticles in the long run.
